Overview:
The Official City Tour of San Francisco is allows you to Hop On Hop Off at 16 stops around San Francisco. The entire tour takes 2 hrs and commentary is available with a live tour guide as well as audio commentary in 10 languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese)
Highlights of the tour include:
The Golden Gate Bridge – The worlds most photographed bridge and an iconic landmark. Hop off her and walk across the 1.2 mile span or venture into the Presidio and Fort Mason
Fisherman’s Wharf – San Francisco's main tourist destination where you fill find most of the top tours and attractions like Pier 39, Alcatraz, San Francisco Dungeon, Madame Tussauds and more.
Palace of Fine Arts – Originally built for the Pan Pacific Expo of 1915 and due to be torn down after it endede, the locals loved it so much they saved it from destruction.
Ghirardelli Square – Formerly a working chocolate factory now a tourist hot spot featuring shopping, restaurants and a brewery as well as the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop with its chocolate fountain.
Golden Gate Park – Home to some great attractions including the California Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, and the Japanese Tea Gardens, you could spend days exploring this stunning park.
Haight/Ashbury – The birthplace of the Hippie counter and former home to iconic figures like Janis Joplin and The Grateful Dead.
Coit Tower - A tribute to the firefighters of San Francisco paid for by the estate of Lillian Hitchcock Coit, a volunteer firefighter herself.
Union Square – San Francisco's Premier shopping district, home to Macys, Tiffany, Saks Fifth Avenue, Apple, Niemann Marcus to name but a few.
